Rick Kurtz is a registered patent attorney with extensive experience in the areas of optoelectronics, computer hardware and software, electronics, telecommunications, semiconductor design and fabrication, physics and optics. Rick was a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office before entering private practice. He formerly chaired the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Virginia State Bar, which has over 1,000 member attorneys. He holds a B.S. degree in Engineering Physics in addition to his law degree and B.A. in Economics.
